Program Goals & Outcomes

Goal 1: To prepare graduates for entry-level clinical practice.

Program Outcome Measure 1: First-time pass rate on PANCE

  • Benchmark 1.1: Annual first-time PANCE pass rate will meet or exceed 90%.

Program Outcome Measure 2: First-time pass rate on the Summative Evaluation

  • Benchmark 1.2: First-time pass rate on the Summative Evaluation will be 90% or greater

Program Outcome Measure 3: Cohort Graduation Rate

  • Benchmark 1.3: Graduation rate for each cohort will be 85% or greater.

Program Outcome Measure 4: Graduating Student Program Exit Survey

  • Benchmark 1.4: Mean score on exit survey re: preparedness for entry-level practice will be 3.0+ (4-point Likert)

Goal 2: To develop professional leadership behaviors necessary for advancing the PA profession.

Program Outcome Measure 1: Graduating Student Program Exit Survey

  • Benchmark 2.1: Mean score re: development of professional leadership behaviors will be 3.0+ (4-point Likert)

Program Outcome Measure 2: Preceptor End-of-Rotation Evaluation

  • Benchmark 2.2: 90% of students will receive 3.0+ (4-point scale)

Program Outcome Measure 3:

  • Benchmark 2.3: 90% of graduating students will receive 3.0+ on Professional Behaviors Domain on final clinical rotation eval.

Goal 3: Prepare graduates to evaluate and apply evidence-based medical research in patient-centered care.

Program Outcome Measure 1: Competently evaluate and apply evidence-based medical research

  • Benchmark 3.1: >= 90% will receive 3.0+ in application of EBM on final end-of-rotation preceptor eval

Program Outcome Measure 2: Capstone scholarly project

  • Benchmark 3.2: >= 90% will complete capstone on the first attempt

  • Benchmark 3.3: Mean score re: EBM preparedness will be 3.0+ (4-point Likert)

Goal 4: To graduate PAs ready to practice in Arkansas with emphasis on underserved or rural communities

Program Outcome Measure 1: Clinical rotation placement in underserved/rural

  • Benchmark 4.1: Each student will complete at least two core rotations in qualifying underserved or rural community

Program Outcome Measure 2: Exit Survey

  • Benchmark 4.2: Mean score re: preparedness for underserved/rural will be 3.0+ (4-point Likert)

Program Outcome Measure 3: Graduates practicing in Arkansas

  • Benchmark 4.3: >= 40% employed as PAs in Arkansas within 12 months of graduation
